SCORPIO LIGHTBOX
The Scorpio Lightbox was a passion project. I wanted to do something large-scale. Inspired by the divine feminine that I'm lucky enough to encounter through the strong women in my life. This piece was my original sketch, digitized, then laser-cut and engraved on several pieces of birch wood. The wood was then layered, assembled and stained with full spectrum LED lights with a layer of rice paper for diffusion. She's about 4 x 2 ft.
ANDROID LIGHTBOX
The Android Light Sculpture is my original digital artwork laser-engraved on acrylic in a wooden base I built that houses strip of LED lights. It measures about 1x2 ft. I was really inspired by the Blade Runner aesthetic and wanted to create something that could exist in that realm.
Finally, my quarantine masterpiece and Etsy best-seller, The Mitch McConnell Dartboard. Definitely a learning process figuring out how to make a functional dartboard from scratch but it seemed important.
A beautiful work of art? Absolutely not. But it was a moment when opportunity met ingenuity and I made a an almost unbelievable amount of money on the most ridiculous thing I've ever made.
